I am the daughter of Steven J. Reuther. He was a Milan Police Officer and was killed on February 4, 1991. It was a hard experience being only 8 years old at the time. It was a hard time at first with just my mom, lil' sister and I, but my mom, Laurie Casey (Reuther) did an awesome job raising us girls and marrying another cop, Timothy L. Casey who is a terrific father and Officer who works hard and looks forward to his job. It was hard growing up with out my biological father. Knowing he wouldn't be here to see my first date, my first formal dance, going to high school or pressuring me to get my home work done. Knowing he won't see me graduate (2001) is hard, but I know he is in my heart and he gave us the gift of my step father, who will be there for me always. I want to thank my real dad for everything and I miss him dearly, and (Dad) "I love you more than anything."
